Doug Hogsten

Doug Hogsten has been in ministry for over 35 years, serving as a pastor and evangelist. He serves as the program chair of missiology at Texas Bible College. Hearned his BA in History from Lee University (Cleveland, TN) and His Master of Divinity from the Pentecostal School of Theology. In 2018, he was awarded a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and is currently pursuing his PhD in Bible and Exposition from John Rawlins Divinity School via Liberty University. 

In 2007, Major Hogsten was accessioned as a Chaplain in the United States Army. He deployed twice to Afghanistan in support of ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) serving as a Battalion Chaplain and senior pastor of “the liveliest services in Afghanistan” in 2010 and 2013. He has a distinguished military career that includes several awards and decorations such as: Two Bronze Star Medals, Two Meritorious Service Medals, and many others. He retired in 2019 with the rank of Major.

The Hogsten's have  been married for 33 years and together they have five children.
