TBC MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Soli Deo Gloria Music Scholarship Fund The Soli Deo Gloria Music Scholarship Fund was established in 2016 in honor of Billye Bowman. At a time in life when most individuals would be focusing on retirement, Sis. Bowman left what was familiar and secure to pursue her training in ministry. In her years of service to the music departments of both Texas Bible College and Jackson College of Ministries she has impacted the lives of hundreds of students from around the country. Her commitment to education as well as the TBC motto “Spirit!Excellence!Truth” is modeled through her daily Christian walk. “Soli Deo Gloria” translated means, “To The One True God and To His Glory Alone”. This phrase sums up the ministry of Billye Bowman and the heartbeat of the TBC music department. These scholarships are intended to aid full-time music majors.
The Dean’s Music Scholarship The Dean’s Music Scholarship was established in 2018 and is intended to aid one full-time music major each year.
